The Pokémon GO Kanto Celebration  is a global event running from September 2 to September 7, 2025. This event brings Kanto regional Pokémon worldwide, and special research to encounter Dynamax Legendary Birds! On top of that, enjoy special raids and spawns, and the ability to evolve certain Pokémon to obtain their special moves.

Kanto Celebration: Near and Farfetch’d

Timed Research featuring Farfetch’d will be available from Tuesday, September 2, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, September 3, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Typically Farfetch’d is only available in South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong.

Kanto Celebration: Kang You Dig It

Timed Research featuring Kangaskhan will be available from Wednesday, September 3, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Kangaskhan is only usually available in Australia.

Kanto Celebration: Mime Time

Timed Research featuring Mr. Mime will be available from Thursday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, September 5, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can usually only encounter Mr. Mime in Europe.

Kanto Celebration: Tauros Taming

Timed Research featuring Tauros will be available from Friday, September 5, at 10:00 a.m. to Saturday, September 6, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Tauros only spawns in The United States and Southern Canada.
