Pokémon GO Festival of Colors 2026
The Festival of Colors 2026 event has been announced in Pokémon GO for players in India, featuring the return of Pikachu in a Saree and Kurta, this time with the chance of a special background, along with spawns of the various forms of Burmy and Flabébé during certain times, exciting bonuses, and mor!
The following bonuses are active during the Pokémon GO Festival of Colors 2026 event:

Pikachu wearing a Saree and Pikachu wearing a Kurta will be available in the wild, from Tier 1 Raids, and from free Timed Research -
Pikachu wearing a Saree and Pikachu wearing a Kurta can be caught with a special background -
Lure Modules will last 3 hours and there will be 2x catch Stardust -
2x catch Stardust -
Burmy, Flabébé, and Medicham will be found via Lure Modules
The following Pokémon will spawn in the wild for 5 minutes at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. each day of the event:
Pikachu wearing a saree or a kurta will have a chance of having a Special background.

There will be a Collection Challenge rewarding you with Stardust and XP.
All trainers in India can enjoy a free Timed Research that will give them the following rewards:
- Lucky Egg
- Rare Candy
- Pikachu stickers
- Encounter with a Pikachu with the Special Background

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed, and their rewards must be claimed before Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
