The Pokémon Sports Day event takes place from May 24, 2026 09:00 to May 25, 2026 20:00 at COEX, Seoul!
Here’s everything you need to know about spawns, bonuses, research, and shiny Pokémon during the event.
Event Bonuses
The following bonuses are active during the Pokémon Sports Day 2026 event, they will be active from May 24, 2026, 09:00, to May 25, 2026, 20:00 KST.:

Trainers Level 31 or higher has an increased chance of receiving Candy XL when they catch a Pokémon with Nice or higher throw

During the event period, you can receive event-limited field research tasks in the COEX area of Seoul:

Free Timed Research
During the event period, you can receive event-limited free time-limited research in the COEX area of Seoul. The rewards for this timed research include:
- 4,500 Stardust
- 1 Star Piece
- 50 Morpeko Candy
- Encounters with Marill, Beldum, Male Frillish, White Flabebe, Morpeko and Rookidee
All time-limited research expires after the deadline. All time-limited research assignments must be completed by 20:00 KST on June 3, 2026, and the rewards must be collected.
On-Site Events
The playoffs for the “Pokémon GO Asia Championship Series 2026: South Korea” will take place on-site, which will determine the top 8 players to advance to the Pokémon World Championships.
