Pokémon GO Wild Area 2025: Nagasaki, Japan

Pokémon GO Wild Area 2025: Nagasaki takes place from November 7-9 across Nagasaki, Japan. Event hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Ticket holders receive exclusive gameplay, spawns, raids, and bonuses.

The featured Pokémon of this year’s GO Wild Area are Impidimp and it’s evolutions, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl, all of which debut with shiny unlocked ✨!

Plus, exceptionally powerful Pokémon known as mighty Pokémon are appearing in the wild—use GO Wild Area–exclusive GO Safari Balls to improve your odds of catching these rare Pokémon. Similar to last year, Ticket holders get exclusive Special Research, additional bonuses, and an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.

Impidimp, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl Debut 👿

This year, Impidimp, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl make their Pokémon GO debut in Nagasaki, and they can be shiny! After making its Pokémon GO debut during the Pokémon GO Wild Area 2025 event in Nagasaki, Japan, they will also feature during the global event.

On your ticketed event day, Impidimp, the Wily Pokémon, will appear in the wild and hatch from 5 km Eggs! You will be able to use 25 Impidimp Candy to evolve Impidimp into Morgrem and 100 Impidimp Candy to evolve Morgrem into Grimmsnarl.

They’re at it again! Team GO Rocket is venturing into the GO Wild Area this year, and they’ve brought Shadow Darkrai with them for the first time in Pokémon GO.

Shadow Darkrai and Shadow Cresselia will appear in Shadow Raids during event days. Plus, you can encounter Shiny Shadow Darkrai and Shiny Shadow Cresselia—if you’re lucky!

For the first time Trainers might just encounter Shiny Unown W, Shiny Hatenna, and Shiny Impidimp during Pokémon GO Wild Area: Nagasaki!

Mighty Pokémon are back for the Wild Area 2025! All Mighty Pokémon have some shared traits:

  • Mighty Pokémon can be caught in the following level ranges Level 35 to 40 range if they are not weather boosted, Level 40 to 45 range if they are weather boosted!
  • Mighty Pokémon have a high IV floor, with 13/13/13 minimum guaranteed IVs
  • Mighty Pokémon always appear as fully evolved Pokémon and can be Shiny in their fully evolved form!
  • More likely to be XL or XXL when caught, and are very aggressive during the catch encounter
  • Mighty Pokémon are much more difficult to capture, it is recommended to use Golden Razz Berries, and a GO Safari Ball

This year’s Pokémon GO Wild Area isn’t contained to a single park this year — instead get ready for citywide adventure throughout all of Nagasaki.

On your ticketed event day, you’ll be able to experience gameplay anywhere in Nagasaki City. From historic buildings to bustling shopping streets, there’s so much to explore in this distinct prefecture.

While adventuring through Nagasaki, you can stop by the host locations, popping up all
throughout the city. Here, you’ll find all of your favorite Pokémon GO event activities and get the chance to meet Trainers just like you. Stay tuned for more information on where to find these special locations.

You can also look forward to special photo opportunities to commemorate your trip to Pokémon GO Wild Area: Nagasaki, and visit the Community Hub to learn more about the Community Ambassador program and meet local Trainers.

Pokémon GO Wild Area 2025: Nagasaki attendees may purchase a ticket for one day of the three-day event. One-day tickets are ¥3,600 (plus applicable taxes and fees) and are available for purchase here.

  1. Open the Pokémon GO app.
  2. In Map View, tap the Main Menu button.
  3. Tap Events.
  4. On the following page, all upcoming live events will be listed, with the soonest event at the top.
  5. You’ll see the label “Tickets Available!” next to a first-come first-served event if it hasn’t sold out yet.
  6. Tap the event to select the date and time you wish to attend, purchase tickets for friends (see the “Gift a ticket to a friend!” section), and input your payment information to complete your purchase.
  7. On the payment confirmation page, please note your order ID. You’ll also receive a confirmation email at the address you entered before payment.

Eggs, plus access to event Field Research, Timed Research, and special bonuses.

Restrictions for the Extra Day Add-ons apply. Trainers will only receive the ticketed event
Special Research once.

T-Shirt Pre-Order

Pre-order your in-person event-exclusive Pokémon GO Wild Area 2025 T-shirt now and pick it up in-person during the event. Special glow in the dark T-shirts are available via pre-order only and must be picked up on the second floor of Nagasaki Stadium City North during your ticketed event day.
