Event Information

On June 28 and 29, 2025, Trainers can gear up for a global adventure during Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global. No ticket is required to participate in this global event, but Trainers can upgrade their experience with an event ticket that grants additional bonuses and Special Research that leads to an encounter with Volcanion!

Ticket Holders

You can purchase an event ticket now via the in-game shop or the Pokémon GO Web Store. Trainers with an event ticket will receive special bonuses and rewards—including Special Research leading to an encounter with Mythical Pokémon Volcanion!

Habitat Rotations

Event-themed Pokémon will appear in rotating habitats during both days of the event. Enjoy each habitat hour twice during event hours. Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Carbink or Shiny Frigibax in the wild—if you’re lucky!

• Moonless Volcano: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time
• Galvanic Dojo: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time
• Hypnotic Tundra: 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time
• Fae Swamp: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time

Pokémon Encounters

As well as the announced Pokémon featured in their rotating habitats, other Shield and Sword themed Pokémon will also spawn in the wild.

New Costume Pokémon

Dapper Pikachu and Falinks in train-ing will make their global debuts in Raids during Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global.

Special Backgrounds

The Zacian and Zamazenta that Trainers can catch after completing Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta raids might have a unique Special Background.

Ultra Unlock

During each habitat hour on Saturday and Sunday, ticket-holding Trainers around the world can work together to complete a Global Challenge. If the challenge is successfully completed in time, a special bonus will be unlocked for the remainder of the hour for ticket-holding Trainers.

Trainers can activate upgraded versions of upcoming events by completing hourly Global Challenges during GO Fest 2025: Global. A new Ultra Unlock event will activate at 15, 30, and 45 successful Global Challenges.
