Pokémon GO Events This Week: May 18–24, 2026
Pokémon GO’s May 18-24 week sees us enter the final month of the season of Memories in Motion! A quieter week is ahead, with the final day of the Spring Marathon, and ending with Mega Falinks making their debut in Pokémon GO debut. Plus the weekly rotating Raid Hours, Dynamax Battles and Mega Raids.
Highlights
- Raid Boss Change (May 20): Tapu Bulu and Mega Altaria return to the raid pool.
- Max Monday (May 18): Dynamax Registeel is featured in Max Battles from 6 PM to 7 PM.
- Raid Hour (May 20): Tapu Bulu are featured in Five-Star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM
- Spring Marathon (May 12-18): Flittle debut, Pikachu wearing a visor debut, different Pokémon in 5km eggs
- Super Mega Falinks Raid Day (May 23): Mega Falinks makes their Pokémon GO debut in a Super Mega Raid Day
Weekly Pokémon GO Schedule
Max Monday: Dynamax Registeel
On Monday, May 18th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Dynamax Registeel will appear in Max Battles! Dynamax Registeel will continue to appear from May 18 to May 24 in Max Battles.
Raid Hour: Tapu Bulu
On Wednesday, May 20th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Tapu Bulu will be the featured Pokémon for Raid Hour!

Events in Pokémon GO This Week
Spring Marathon
Flittle makes its Pokémon GO debut during the Spring Marathon 2026 event, alongside the first appearance of Pikachu wearing a marathon visor! Discover event bonuses, wild spawns, rotating bonuses, raids, Field Research, and GO Pass rewards. The Spring Marathon 2026 runs from Tuesday, May 12, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, May 18, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Super Mega Falinks Raid Day
Mega Falinks debuts in Pokémon GO during a special Super Mega Raid Day event on, Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can look forward to Mega Falinks in Super Mega Raids, with the potential to be shiny (with boosted odds!), and up to five additional free raid passes for the day.

Five-Star Raids
From May 13 to May 19, Xurkitree, Buzzwole and Pheromosa will appear in Five-Star Raids in their respective regions.

Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Cresselia will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Memories in Motion! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Cresselia—if you’re lucky!
GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe
Pokémon GO’s May 2026 GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe feature exclusive rewards, including an encounter with Suicune, XP and Stardust bonuses, and PokéCoin rewards!
Trainers can earn GO Points by completing Pass Tasks, unlock milestone rewards through ranking up, and access premium items by upgrading to the Deluxe version via the Pokémon GO Web Store.
Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: May on Saturday, May 2, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
GO Battle League Season 26
GO Battle League: Memories in Motion begins Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. PST GMT −8.
At the start of the Season:
End of Season rewards become available on the Battle screen.
Your GO Battle League rank will reset.
The number of wins required to advance from Rank 19 to Rank 20 returns to 20.
All other rank up requirements remain unchanged.

Get ready for Pokémon GO’s Memories in Motion Season! Running from March 3, 2026, to June 2, 2026, this incredible season focuses on new Daily Discovery experiences, shiny evolved Pokémon in the wild, new shiny Shadow Pokémon, boosted shiny odds for hatching eggs and in raid encounters and more!
