Pokémon GO Events This Week: January 5 to January 11, 2026
Pokémon GO’s January 5 to January 11 week has us enter the first full week of 2026, in the season of Precious Paths! Meet Klawf in the Pinch Perfect event, raid for the Kyurem Fusions and more!
Plus the weekly rotating Spotlight and Raid Hours, Dynamax Battles and Mega Raids.
Highlights
- Raid Boss Change (January 5): Genesect Burn and Chill Drive return to the raid pool.
- Max Monday (January 5): Dynamax Drampa is featured in Max Battles from 6 PM to 7 PM.
- Spotlight Hour (January 6): Barboach is featured with 2x XP for catching Pokémon
- Raid Hour (January 7): Genesect Burn and Chill Drive is featured in Five-Star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM.
- Pinch Perfect (January 6-11): Klawf debuts, shiny Dhlemise is released, boosted shiny odds for Clauncher, Corpish and Dwebble
- Kyurem Fusion Raid Day (January 10): Black and White Kyurem feature in 5-star raids with boosted shiny odds
Weekly Pokémon GO Schedule
Max Monday: Dynamax Drampa
On Monday, January 5th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Dynamax Drampa will appear in Max Battles! Dynamax Drampa will continue to appear from January 5 to 11 in Max Battles.
Spotlight Hour: Barboach
2x Catch XP
On Tuesday, January 6th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Barboach will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× XP for catching Pokémon.
Raid Hour: Burn and Chill Drive Genesect
On Wednesday, January 7th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Genesect in Burn and Chill Drive forms will be the featured Pokémon for Raid Hour!

Pinch Perfect
Klawf debuts during the Pokémon GO’s Pinch Perfect event that runs from January 6 to January 11, 2026. The event also sees the release of shiny Dhelmise and crustacean inspired Pokémon in the wild and more! 
Kyurem Fusion Raid Day
Kyurem Fusion Raid Day takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time! Battle Reshiram, Zekrom, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in Raids, with boosted Shiny 
odds and bonus Raid Passes available.

Five-Star Raids
From January 5 to January 16 Genesect Burn and Chill Drive will appear in Five-Star Raids.

Shadow Raids
One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. Also, Shadow Cresselia will swoop into five-star Shadow Raids during Precious Paths! You may even encounter a Shiny Shadow Cresselia—if you’re lucky!
GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe
Pokémon GO’s January 2026 GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe feature exclusive rewards, including an encounter with Dialga, XP and Stardust bonuses, and the return of the Lucky Trinket! Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: January on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m

GO Battle League: Precious Paths begins Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).
