Pokémon GO Events This Week (20-26 October 2025)
Pokémon GO’s October 20 to October 26 schedule brings the spooky season month in the Tales of Transformation season! Enjoy the release of new levels in Pokémon GO, the end of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A Celebration Event, the start of Pokémon GO Halloween, GO Battle Weekend and more!
Plus the weekly rotating Spotlight and Raid Hours, Dynamax Battles and Mega Raids.
Highlights
- Raid Boss Change (October 21): Genesect, Mega Houndoom and Mega Absol return to the raid pool
- Max Monday (October 20): Dynamax Gastly is featured in Max Battles from 6 PM to 7 PM.
- Spotlight Hour (October 21): Gastly is featured with a 2x catch XP
- Raid Hour (October 22): Normal Genesect, Shock Drive Genesect and Douse Drive Genesect are featured in Five-Star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM.

Max Monday: Dynamax Gastly
On Monday, October 20th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Dynamax Gastly will appear in Max Battles! Dynamax Gastly will continue to appear from October 20 to October 26 in Max Battles.
Spotlight Hour: Gastly
2x Catch XP
On Tuesday, October 21st, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Gastly will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× XP for catching Pokémon!
Raid Hour: Normal Genesect, Shock Genesect, Douse Genesect
On Wednesday, October 22nd, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Normal, Shock and Douse Genesect will be the featured Pokémon for Raid Hour!

Pokémon Legends: Z-A Celebration Event
To celebrate the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Pokémon GO is hosting a special limited-time event from October 16, 2025 to October 20, 2025. Adventure with your new First Partner Pokémon in branching timed research, and enjoy increased Mega Raid frequency!
Halloween 2025 Part One
Pokémon GO’s Halloween 2025 Part One event runs from October 21, 2025, to October 27, 2025, and features the debut of Poltchageist and Sinistcha, and debut of shiny Sinistea!
GO Battle Weekend
A GO Battle Weekend: Tales of Transformation is coming to Pokémon GO, which takes place from Saturday, October 25, at 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time. Great League and Halloween Cup will be available, along with Clemont inspired glasses for your avatar.

Five-Star Raids
From October 14th to October October 21st, Attack Forme Deoxys and Speed Forme Deoxys will appear in Five-Star Raids.

GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe
Pokémon GO’s October 2025 GO Pass runs from Tuesday, October 7th at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. local time. This month’s GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe feature exclusive rewards, including an encounter with Terrakion with a Tales of Transformation background, XP and Stardust bonuses, and PokéCoins rewards!
GO Battle League Season 24
GO Battle League Season 24 begins Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7). At launch:
End-of-Season rewards (from the prior season) appear on the Battle screen.

The active season this week in Pokémon GO is the Tales of Transformation Season! Running from September 2, 2025, to December 2, 2025, this incredible season focuses on Resolute Keldeo and brings the much-anticipated debut of Mega Metagross!
