New Pokémon TCG Pocket Expansion Announced: Deluxe Pack ex!
The final set of the Pokémon TCG Pocket A series, the A4b expansion, called Deluxe Pack ex, has finally been announced! Unlike all sets till now, this one comes with a surprising twist, as it features reprints of beloved cards found in older additions, with special emphasis on EX cards.
This type of pack appears once a year and includes Pokémon and popular cards released within the year before its release. It consists of cards, both regular and EX, with different illustrations, and is a limited-time special pack (available only for a month to collect).
Think of it as old cards, new art!
There’s more, as each pack in this set will contain four cards and you’re guaranteed to draw a 
card!

An official trailer for Deluxe Pack ex has been released, revealing some cards from the new expansion! The set will be led by new 2-star rarity artwork of EX cards, along with reprints of some old cards that are/were prominent in the meta.
The Deluxe Pack ex set will be released on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, and is the A4b expansion. Note that this will only be available until October 30, 2025, so try to grab all the cards by then.

Solgaleo EX is also in this elite group. It’s highly probable that other set headliners like Lugia, Ho-Oh, Mew, etc., could also be graced with the new artwork
The above list of EX cards is the guaranteed headliners of the pack, and this expansion will also include variants of all EX cards.

Perhaps, most exciting of them all, there’s a full art version of the iconic Professor’s Research card!
Other cards like Lucario (Space-Time Smackdown), Sprigatito, and Red Supporter are also confirmed.
This is the first time that there won’t be new meta shifts in the Ranked mode of the game. Veteran players can also open packs with less FOMO. However, this release is a boon for new players or those who missed out on cards from previous expansions.
