Kyurem Fusion Raid Day (January 2026)
Kyurem Fusion Raid Day takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time! Battle Reshiram, Zekrom, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in Raids, with boosted Shiny 
odds and bonus Raid Passes available.
This event is completely Remote Raid friendly, and we expect high participation across the globe.
Event Bonuses
The following bonuses will be active during the event:

Reshiram, Zekrom, Black Kyurem* and White Kyurem* will appear more frequently in raids. These Raid Bosses will alternate each half hour during event hours. Reshiram and Black Kyurem will appear in raids first, followed by Zekrom and White Kyurem. -
The Remote Raid Pass limit will increase to 20 from Friday, January 9, at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PST -
Increased chance to encounter Shiny Reshiram, ShinyZekrom, and Shiny Kyurem in raids

Receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a total of six).
(*) Trainers will have a chance to catch Kyurem after defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem.

Raid Boss Rotation Schedule
These Raid Bosses will rotate every 30 minutes throughout the event. Reshiram and Black Kyurem will appear first, followed by Zekrom and White Kyurem. Battle in Raids to earn Fusion Energy, which can be used to fuse Kyurem.

Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem will know special Charged Attacks when encountered and caught in raid rewards:

During the event, you will have an increased chance of encountering shiny Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem from raids:
Shiny Kyurem Fusion Forms
You cannot catch Kyurem’s fused forms in Raids, but you can get their Shiny versions by fusing them with a shiny Reshiram or shiny Zekrom. Here is what they look like when fused:
How to Get Black and White Kyurem
In order to get Black and White Kyurem, you need to have a Kyurem and enough Candy and Fusion energy. Fusing Kyurem with Zekrom or Reshiram will give you Black or White Kyurem:
- Kyurem + Zekrom = Black Kyurem
- Kyurem + Reshiram = White Kyurem
The resulting fusion will always inherit Kyurem’s IVs, and won’t be affected by Zekrom/Reshiram’s IVs. We strongly recommend fusing your bad IV Reshiram and Zekrom with good IV Kyurem to get best results. Check here for more details on how Kyurem Fusion works.
Special Effect of Fusing Kyurem that knows Glaciate
If your Kyurem knows the exclusive move Glaciate Ice, the resulting fusion form will know an exclusive move!
- Glaciate Kyurem + Zekrom = Black Kyurem that knows Freeze Shock Ice
- Glaciate Kyurem + Reshiram = White Kyurem that knows Ice Burn Ice
How to Get Black Kyurem
In order to create a Black Kyurem, fuse Kyurem with Zekrom. This fusion requires 1000 Volt Fusion Energy, plus 30 Kyurem Candy and 30 Zekrom Candy.
Black Kyurem with Freeze Shock Ice
When Kyurem that knows Glaciate is fused with Zekrom, the resulting Black Kyurem will know a new Ice type charged attack – Freeze Shock! 
Freeze Shock changes back into Glaciate when unfused.
Adventure Effect
Freeze Shock is Black Kyurem’s signature move with the following Adventure Effect:
- Prevents Pokemon from moving during catching; whether it be attacking or moving to one side of the screen or the other
- Increases the catch rate (1.25x) for all catch methods, including accessories like Go Plus+
Damage stats
- Gym and Raids: 160 damage, 100 Energy
- GO Battle League: 120 damage, 60 energy, 30.0% chance to decrease Target’s Attack by 20.0%
How to Get White Kyurem
In order to create a White Kyurem, fuse Kyurem with Reshiram. This fusion requires 1000 Blaze Fusion Energy, plus 30 Kyurem Candy and 30 Fusion Candy.
White Kyurem with Ice Burn Ice
When Kyurem that knows Glaciate is fused with Reshiram, the resulting White Kyurem will know a new Ice type charged attack – Ice Burn! 
Ice Burn changes back into Glaciate when unfused.
Adventure Effect
Ice Burn is White Kyurem’s signature move with the following Adventure Effect:
- Slows down the target ring, making it easier to land better throws
- Increases the catch rate (1.5x) for all catch methods, including accessories like Go Plus+
Damage stats
- Gym and Raids: 90 damage, 50 Energy
- GO Battle League: 120 damage, 60 energy, 30.0% chance to decrease Target’s Defense by 20.0%
Event Ticket
For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you can purchase a ticket that grants the following bonuses:
- Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs (for a daily total of 14)
- Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles
- 50% more XP from Raid Battles
- 2× Stardust from Raid Battles
These bonuses will be effective on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
