Pokémon GO’s Into the Wild 2025 event runs from November 10, 2025, to November 14, 2025, and features the debut of the Silver Bottle Cap, and plus the return of Shadow Ho-Oh and Shadow Lugia! This guide lists all the bonuses, research, and collection challenges you can encounter during the Pokémon Into The Wild event in Pokémon GO.

Event Highlights

Silver Bottle Cap Debut

A Silver Bottle Cap will debut in Pokémon GO for the first time! The Silver Bottle Cap can be used to max one stat—Attack, Defense, or HP—on any Pokémon via Hyper Training.

Hyper Training is an exciting way for Trainers to increase a Pokémon’s HP, Attack, or Defense. By completing GO Pass Deluxe: Into the Wild, Trainers will be able to earn a Silver Bottle Cap. This item is used to start Hyper Training that you can complete to increase one of a Pokémon’s stats.

The Silver Bottle Cap is a single use item that you can earn by completing GO Pass Deluxe: Into the Wild! You can use it to start Hyper Training with one of your Pokémon, so long as they are a Good Buddy or higher.

When selecting a trainee, you will be able to choose which stat you would like to train. Silver Bottle Caps are extremely rare and obtaining one is a special occasion, so select your trainee wisely.

The Silver Bottle Cap earned from GO Pass Deluxe: Into the Wild will expire on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time, regardless of when you claimed it, so remember to use it.

Shadow Pokémon and Pokémon that already have maxed out stats are not eligible for Hyper Training.

Pokémon that have undergone Hyper Training cannot be transferred to Pokémon HOME.

Once you’ve given your chosen Pokémon trainee a Silver Bottle Cap, it’s time to start Hyper Training. To train, you will complete various tasks themed to the stat you plan to raise:

• Attack: Battle alongside your trainee.
• Defense: Strengthen your bond with your Buddy Pokémon trainee by playing together, exploring, and catching Pokémon.
• HP: Explore alongside your trainee as a buddy. This can include spinning PokéStops, earning Buddy Candy, or other adventures.

Once you use your Silver Bottle Cap, you’ll have 365 days to complete your Hyper Training.

Raids

The following Pokémon will appear in raids and Shadow Raids. Pokémon appearing in five-star raids will also be featured in a Raid Hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time for one day each on the below schedule:

In addition to encountering Necrozma and receiving the typical raid rewards, Trainers will obtain Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy from Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma raids, respectively. Trainers will have a chance to catch Necrozma after defeating Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma.

Featured Attacks

Some Pokémon will know special attacks when caught during the event:

• Tapu Koko will know the Charged Attack Nature’s Madness
• Tapu Lele will know the Charged Attack Nature’s Madness.
• Tapu Bulu will know the Charged Attack Nature’s Madness.
• Tapu Fini will know the Charged Attack Nature’s Madness.

Field Research

Pokémon GO Wild Area–themed Field Research tasks will be available throughout the event. Complete the research tasks to earn encounters with event themed Pokémon and other rewards.

Special Background

Trainers who participate in five-star raids during the Into the Wild event will have a chance of receiving a new Special Background after making a successful catch. This souvenir background will appear on the Pokémon’s summary page, showing when the Pokémon was caught.

GO Pass Into The Wild

From Monday, November 10, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 16, at 6:00 p.m. local time, the GO Pass and the GO Pass Deluxe for Into the Wild will be available in Pokémon GO.

GO Pass Into The Wild

A GO Pass is a free, limited-time progression track available during a specified period. By collecting GO Points, you can increase your rank to earn rewards.

Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Into the Wild at no cost on Monday, November 10, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to get additional rewards through Sunday, November 16, at 6:00 p.m. local time.

From Monday, November 10, to Friday, November 14, you can collect GO Points up to a daily cap during the Into the Wild event to get a head start on your GO Pass. There’s no limit to the amount of GO Points you can earn on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 to 16.
