Mega Dragonite Raid Guide (Super Mega Raids)
Mega Dragonite
Mega Dragonite is a Dragon and type Super Mega Raid boss. Best Mega Dragonite raid counters include powerful Ice, Dragon, Fairy, and Rock types, with a mixed range of different counters available to help you defeat it. Remember that Mega Dragonite is double weak to Ice, so you should prioritize those Pokémon as counters.
Super Mega Raids require a minimum of 8 trainers to defeat them, and each trainer will need to have a Mega Pokémon in their team. This guide will tell you how to beat this draconic Mega, as well as its optimal stats, moves, and CP range.

Super Mega Raid Information
During Super Mega Raids, the Mega Pokémon can become enraged, and even used shields that dramatically reduce the amount of damage they take. You’ll have to work together to take down these shields, but each Trainer can only take down one shield.
- Once the Mega Pokémon boss activates a shield, a Mega Pokémon from your Raid team will be automatically sent into the battle.
- Your next attack by your Mega Pokémon will be significantly more powerful than usual, allowing you to break down the boss’ shield!
Once you and your fellow Trainers have broken enough shields, the Raid Boss will return to its normal stat, and you will be able to do normal damage again.
How to Get Mega Dragonite
You cannot catch Dragonoite in its mega evolved form from the raid. The mega raid boss is always catchable in its base form, and as such, the CP ranges are for a regular Dragonite.
Dragonite can be caught with the following CP values:
- From 1918 CP to 2003 CP, with no weather boost
- From 2397 CP to 2503 CP, with Windy weather boost
