Pokémon GO Events This Week (29 September – 5 October 2025)
Pokémon GO’s September 29 to October 5 schedule brings to a close the first month in of the Tales of Transformation season! Enjoy the Steel Skyline event, Mega Metagross Raid Day and more! Plus weekly Spotlight Hour, daily Raid/ Hours, Dynamax Battles, Mega Raids, GO Battle League Season 24, and Season‑long Tales of Transformation bonuses.
Highlights
- Raid Boss Change (September 30): Mega Scizor, Mega Steelix, Mega Lucario and Diagla return to the raid pool
- Max Monday (September 29): Dynamax Beldum is featured in Max Battles from 6 PM to 7 PM.
- Spotlight Hour (September 30): Aron is featured with a 2x transfer candy bonus, plus a chance for Mega Aggron Mega Energy
- Raid Hour (October 1): Origin Forme Dialga are featured in Five-Star Raids from 6 PM to 7 PM.
- XP Celebration (August 25-October 14): Boosted XP for nice, great and excellent throws
- Steel Skyline (September 30-October 7): Duraludon makes their debut in Dynamax Battles and it can be shiny, with steel type Pokémon featuring

On Monday, September 29th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Dynamax Beldum will appear in Max Battles! Dynamax Beldum will continue to appear from September 29 to October 5 in Max Battles:
Spotlight Hour: Aron

2x Transfer Candy and a chance of Mega Aggron Mega Energy when caught
On Tuesday, September 30th, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Aron will be the featured Pokémon for Spotlight Hour, along with 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon! Aron may also award Aggron Mega Energy when caught during Spotlight Hour!
Raid Hour: Origin Forme Dialga
On Wednesday, October 1st, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, Origin Forme Dialga will be the featured Pokémon for Raid Hour!
Events in Pokémon GO This Week
XP Celebration
With the level cap being increased to level 80 in Pokémon GO, trainers would want to collect massive amounts of XP before the journey beyond level 50 goes live on October 15, 2025. Luckily, you can start doing that right away thanks to the XP Celebration event, which promises huge XP gains and exclusive Timed Research.
Steel Skyline Event
The Steel Skyline event runs from September 30, 2025, to October 7, 2025, and features the debut of Duraludon, and it can be shiny! Plus, enjoy global challenges based on throws, along with steel type Pokémon in the wild, raid and Max Battles.
Mega Metagross Raid Day
Mega Metagross finally debuts in Pokémon GO during a special Raid Day event on Saturday, October 4th, 2025. Trainers can look forward to an increased chance to encounter shiny Metagross, up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, and a temporarily increased Remote Raid Pass limit.

From September 23rd to October 7th, Dialga will appear in Five-Star Raids.

One-star and three-star Shadow Raids will be available daily, while five-star Shadow Raids will take place on Saturdays and Sundays unless otherwise noted. GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe
Pokémon GO’s September 2025 GO Pass runs from Tuesday, September 2nd at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, October 7th at 10:00 a.m. local time. This month’s GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe feature exclusive rewards, including an encounter with Cobalion with a Tales of Transformation background, XP and Stardust bonuses, and the debut of the Timed Incubator—an unlimited-use but time-limited egg incubator available with the GO Pass Deluxe.

GO Battle League Season 24 begins Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7). At launch:
End-of-Season rewards (from the prior season) appear on the Battle screen.
