Pokemon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale Event
Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale is a special worldwide event that runs from August 23, 2025 at 10.00 a.m. to August 24, 2025, at 18:00 p.m. local time. During this time, Eternatmax Eternatus will take over the majority of Power Spots during Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale.
Leading up to the GO Fest 2025 Max Finale, we will have the Dark Skies event, during which you can defeat and obtain all of the Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokémon released so far.
Event Bonuses
Trainers will receive the following bonuses between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m local time on event days!

Max Particle collection limit will increase -
Power Spots will refresh daily. -
More Power Spots than usual will be active. -
2× Candy for catching Pokémon. -
2× Candy XL chance from catching Pokémon. -
There will be no limit on Remote Raids from Saturday, August 23, to Sunday, August 24, 2025.

Max Battles
Eternamax Eternatus
Eternatmax Eternatus will take over the majority of Power Spots during Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale.
While Trainers will not be able to catch Eternamax Eternatus after defeating it in Max Battles, they will earn a large amount of Eternatus Candy and Eternatus Candy XL, which can be used to power up the Eternatus they can catch via GO Pass: Max Finale.
In addition to Eternamax Eternatus, all Gigantamax Pokémon that have appeared in Pokémon GO may appear at Power Spots.
The following Pokémon will appear in Max Battles on the following schedule more frequently than other Gigantamax Pokémon.

In celebration of Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale, Trainers can use the code GOFESTMAX on the Pokémon GO Web Store to redeem branching Timed Research focused on Max Battles and Buddy Pokémon. The code will expire on August 3, 2025, at 00:00 UTC.
Complete the research tasks to earn rewards and encounter a Gigantamax Pokémon of your choice—either Rillaboom, Cinderace, or Inteleon—with a Seasonal Special Background!
Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Sunday, August 24, 2025.
