Gigantmax Lapras Max Battle Day
Gigantamax Lapras returns to Pokémon GO during a special Raid Day event on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Trainers can look forward to an increased remote raid pass limit, two additional special trades, and an increase to the Max Particle daily limit.

*For this bonus to apply, Trainers must first collect all Max Particles available in the Nearby menu. Trainers can collect Max Particles via the Nearby menu each day by exploring. Keep an eye on the Nearby menu for the icon that shows when Max Particles are ready to collect.
^While most bonuses are only active during the three-hour event period, these will be active from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Timed Research
There will be a free Timed Research opportunity available to Trainers starting Monday, July 14, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. local time.
Complete the Timed Research to encounter a Dynamax Passimian. The Timed Research tasks will also award Passimian Candy, Max Particles, and more to help power up your battle team.
Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. local time.

The Gigantamax Lapras Max Battle Day Ultra Ticket Box will be available for US$4.99 (or your local currency equivalent). It includes an event ticket and a bonus Max Particle Pack at no additional cost.
There will also be a Max Battle Boost Box for US$7.99 (or your local currency equivalent). The deal will feature a Max Mushroom and seven Max Particle Packs to prepare you for encounters with Gigantamax Lapras.
