Volcanion Debuts in Special Research for Ticket Holders 
The Mythical Pokémon Volcanion makes its global Pokémon GO debut on the first day of GO Fest 2025: Global in a Special Volcanion Research Story exclusively available for Ticket Holders.
If you already encountered Volcanion in Osaka, Paris, or Jersey City, you will receive Volcanion Candy as the final reward for the global GO Fest 2025 Special Research instead of another Volcanion.
Skiddo and Klefki Available Worldwide During GO Fest 2025
Ticket-holding Trainers can encounter Skiddo and Klefki anywhere in Pokémon GO during the GO Fest 2025 Global event. Skiddo was previously only found during City Safaris, and Klefki is typically only found in France.

During Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global, Trainers worldwide will experience a rotation of four unique habitat hours, each featuring a curated pool of wild Pokémon tied to the event’s theme. These habitats rotate twice per day, giving you two full chances per biome.
Shiny Debuts: For the first time in Pokémon GO, Shiny Carbink and Shiny Frigibax will be available in the wild—if you’re lucky!

During each habitat hour on Saturday and Sunday, ticket-holding Trainers around the world can work together to complete a Global Challenge. If the challenge is successfully completed in time, a special bonus will be unlocked for the remainder of the hour for ticket-holding Trainers.
How to Trigger Ultra Unlock Bonuses During GO Fest
Trainers can activate upgraded versions of upcoming events by completing hourly Global Challenges during GO Fest 2025: Global. A new Ultra Unlock event will activate at 15, 30, and 45 successful Global Challenges.
Ultra Unlock, Part 1: Hisui Celebration
If Trainers complete 15 hourly Global Challenges, they’ll boost Hisui Celebration, an event that will take place from Tuesday, July 8, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Ultra Unlock, Part 2: Steel and Scales
If Trainers complete a total of 30 Global Challenges, they’ll boost Steel and Scales, an event that will take place from Tuesday, July 22, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
